Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina leaves Dhaka today (Tuesday) by Qatar Airlines on a seven-day visit to Sweden and Qatar, reports UNB.
In Stockholm, the Prime Minister will attend the 'European Development Days-2009', and 'Plenary on Climate Change: The Road to Copenhagen and Beyond'.
On October 22 (Thursday), she will attend the opening ceremony of the 4th edition of the 'European Development Days' at Stockholmassan Victoria Hall and make a statement.
On the same day, Hasina will hold meeting with Swedish Prime Minister Fredrick Reinfeldt, President of European Commission Jose Manuel, Speaker and MPs of Swedish Parliament and Swedish Minister for International Development Mrs Gunilla Carlsson.
On October 23, she will hold meeting with President of European Parliament Jerzy Duzek and attend a community reception at Hallunda Folkethus.
Ericsson President Carl Henric Svanberg and SIDA Director General Anders Novdstrom will call on the Prime Minister.
On October 24, Hasina will attend the 'Plenary on Climate Change: The Road to Copenhagen and Beyond' at Stockholmassan.
The Prime Minister will leave Stockholm for Doha on October 25 to begin a two-day bilateral visit to Qatar.
On October 26, she will hold bilateral meeting with Amir of Qatar Shaikh Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani at Diwan Amiri. She will also visit a Bangladeshi school at Doha.
The Prime Minister is likely to return home on October 27.
