CHITTAGONG, Oct 4: The contractors' welfare association of Bakhrabad Gas Systems Ltd (BGSL) today protested suspension of all categories of gas connection stating that the move would cause suffering to at least 10 thousand domestic consumers in the city.

They held a protest rally in front of the BGSL office at Sholashahar and demanded immediate resumption of new gas connection to the domestic consumers.

They said the gas supplied to a single CNG station can meet the demand of at least 1500 households. Haji Ikram and Liakur Rahman Azad spoke on the occasion.
