Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has opened its 203rd branch at Bhandaria in Pirojpur.

Director of the bank Hafizul Islam Miah inaugurated the branch as the chief guest at Hawladar Market in Bhandaria Wednesday, said a press release.

Deputy Managing Director of the bank Md Habibur Rahman presided over the inaugural function.

Bhandaria Upazila Parishad Chairman Md Mahibul Hosain Mahim, vice chairmen Khan Md Rustom Ali and Syeda Jahanara and Bhandaria Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Khairul Hasan addressed the function as special guests.

Addressing the function, the chief guest said that the bank had been providing latest banking services by establishing largest on-line branch network across the country.

The bank will continue its effort for the development of fortune of 140 million people of the country, he pointed out.

Among others, Executive Vice President and Head of Barisal Zone of the bank AKM Harunur Rashid and Manager of the bank Md Nuruzzaman and President of the Bhandaria Bazar Businessmen Association Md Abdul Khalek Mollik addressed the function.
