As a part of Corporate Social Responsibility, Pubali Bank Ltd. presented a bus to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University for availing transport facility for teachers, doctors, officers & staffs as a sign of compliments and cordial relationship.

Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder MP, Chairman, Board of Directors of Pubali Bank handed over a key of the bus to Professor Pran Gopal Dutta, Vice-Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.

Speaking on the occasion Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder MP said, Pubali Bank is not only a profit-oriented company, it has some social responsibility.

As a part of its growth programme, Pubali Bank presented a bus for use of BSMMU. He cited that such welfare activities will be continued in the field of education, health sector and social development.

Helal Ahmed Chowdhury said, the presentation of the bus for use of the staff of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University is a part of our welfare activities. He also said Pubali Bank always expand its hand for welfare activities for distressed people. Besides Pubali Bank always cooperate by providing medical services to poor and helpless people at time of natural calamity.

Directors of Pubali Bank Ltd. Sk. Wahidur Rahman, Ahmed Shafi Chowdhury, M. Faizur Rahman, Alternate Director Kabiruzzaman Yakub, Managing Director Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, Tresurer of BSMMU Prof. Md. Moazzem Hossain, pro-vice-Chancellor (Academic) of BSMMU Prof. A.K.M Anisul Haque, pro- vice-Chancellor (Admin) of BSMMU Prof. Md. Shohidullah and other senior executives of both organizations were present in the ceremony.

Professor Pran Gopal praised such activities of Pubali Bank and said that other organizations should participate in different development programme like Pubali Bank.
