An Iftar Mahfil was arranged in the Islamic Banking Branch of AB Bank recently in the city.

Mr. A. B. M. Abdus Sattar, head of Islamic banking branch welcomed the guests for participating at the Iftar mahfil. Director of South East University, Alem-e-din Professor Mowlana Shahidul Islam Barakati, member of many commercial banks' Shariah council shared the importance of Siam with the audience. Mr. M. Azizul Huq, the founder of Islamic Banking in Bangladesh also spoke on the importance of holy Ramadan to the listeners.

President & Managing Director of AB Bank Mr. Kaiser A. Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Faruq M. Ahmed, Mr. Shamim Ahmed Chaudhury and Mr. M. Fazlur Rahman were also present among other high officials of the bank.
