Southeast Bank Ltd (SEBL), Motijheel branch (Islamic Banking) organised an Iftar party for its clients on the branch premises recently.

Managing Director of Southeast Bank Ltd Mahbubul Alam, Khatib of Baitul Mokarram National Mosque and Chairman of SEBL Shariah Council Prof Mawlana Mohammad Salahuddin, Khatib of Eskaton Garden Jame Mosque and member of the Shariah Council Mawlana Abdul Hakim Azadi, among others, were present on the occasion.

Mawlana Abdul Hakim Azadi, in his speech, highlighted different aspects of the holy month of Ramadan.

Managing Director of the bank Mahbubul Alam, in his speech, focused on some rare issues on Ramadan.

He also discussed various Islamic banking products which are currently being operated with five Islamic banking branches of the bank along with its conventional banking branches.

Before Iftar, Prof Mawlana Mohammad Salahuddin conducted a special Munajat soliciting prosperity and peace of the Muslim Ummah and the people of Bangladesh.
