The 2nd National Cisco Skills Competition jointly, organised by multinational networking giant Cisco and American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), was held in the city Saturday.

A total of 47 teams comprising 141 students from 12 Cisco networking academies in Bangladesh participated in the daylong event.

Vice Chancellor of AIUB Dr Carmen Z Lamagna inaugurated the event held at the University campus. Cisco's Regional Manager- Corporate Responsibility for South Asia and Area Academy Manager for India and SAARC Jagan Jothivel were also present on the occasion.

Three winning teams from this competition will represent Bangladesh at the SAARC Skills Competition scheduled to be held in September this year.
