Armed men snatched Tk 15,000 in cash from a pharmacy of a city hospital after holding its employees hostage Sunday afternoon, police said.

Police said three youths entered the Al-Helal Hospital on Rokeya Sarani in the city's Kafrul area in the afternoon in the guise of customers.

Soon after entering the pharmacy, the young muggers held the employees hostage at gunpoint and snatched away Tk 15,000 from the cashier. Later, the gang men made good their escape from the spot.
