HABIGANJ, July 18 (UNB) : Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish formed a human chain on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway here Thursday in protest against India's decision to construct Tipaimukh Dam on Barak River.

The party leaders as well as the people from all walks of life took part in the protest programme near the Shayestaganj new bridge.

They also staged demonstrations urging the government to take proper decision about Tipaimukh Dam as it has become a burning issue for the nation.
