Head of the branches and executives of head office of First Security Islami Bank Limited have been urged to lay emphasis on recovery of classified loans, extending investment to small and medium enterprise (SME), agriculture sector and women entrepreneurs.
Managing Director of the bank AAM Zakaria made the appeal while presiding over the half-yearly Managers' Conference-2009 of the bank in the city Saturday, said a press release.
The conference reviewed the operational performance of individual branches and divisions of head office for the period from January '09 to June '09.
During the period the positions of deposits, investment and recovery against classified loans, export and import business and profit and loss were discussed in details.
Among others, deputy-managing directors Abdul Quddus and Md Sayedul Hasan were present at the conference, the release added.
