Members of the banned Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) have chosen a new name to continue their militancy activities in the country to dodge the strict vigilance by law enforcers'.
Some of the JMB policy makers took the decision four months ago, as the country's law enforcing agencies have kept their eyes on the activities of banned the Islamic outfit, according to an arrested JMB member Abdur Rahim alias Shahadath,
The special branch (SB) of police disclosed the sensational information to reporters at a press conference held at its headquarters in the city Thursday afternoon.
Acting on a tip-off, a team from SB police raided a house in the city's Kakirerpul area and arrested Mustafizur Rahman alias Jota Monto from there on June 28.
