Mr BB Saha Roy, managing director and chief executive officer of Elite Paint Group of Companies, has been nominated director of AB Bank Limited, said a press release.

Mr Roy's nomination confirmed at the annual general meeting of the bank held in the city recently.

Before joining Elite Paint he served Berger Paints for about 20 years in different capacities.

Former general secretary of the Bangladesh Paint Manufacturers' Association Mr Roy completed his post graduation in Chemistry from Dhaka University (DU) and MBA from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of DU, the release added.
