Mizanur Rahman Shelley has been re-elected chairman and SM Abdul Mannan MP elected vice-chairman of Premier Leasing and Finance Limited.

The election came at the board of directors' meeting of the company in the city recently, said a press release.

Mr Shelley obtained his Master's degree from Dhaka University and PhD from the University of London in International Politics.

He is the founder chairman of Premier Leasing and Finance Limited.

His business activities include chairmanship of the Centre for Development Research Bangladesh (CDRB) and Mohona Holdings Limited.

After taking degree in Civil Engineering, Mr Mannan engaged in various business for the last 27 years in different sectors like construction, industry, garments, private hospital, insurance, bank, leasing, real estate and export-import.

He is the member of board of governors of Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI) and also a member of United World College (UWC).

He is also honourable chairman of Piu De Fashionova Limited, sponsor and director of Mercantile Bank Limited, director of Delta Spinners Limited, Global Insurance Limited and Delta Medical Centre Limited.

He is also the managing director of Techno-Foki (Bangladesh) Limited and FM Properties Limited.
