A man was stabbed to death in the city's Kamalapur area Tuesday night. The victim was identified as Abdul Jalil (45), son of Daroga Ali of Comilla district. Police said local people found the body of Jalil, a manpower businessman, in his rented room of house no-22/1 early Wednesday. The body bore head and chest injuries. The reason behind the killing could not be known immediately.
