Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited has approved final dividend of Tk 7 per ordinary share of Tk 10. Including the interim dividend of Tk 5 per share, the total dividend paid by the company for the year 2008 stands at Tk 12 per share.

The approval came at its 36th annual general meeting (AGM) held at Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in the city Sunday, said a press release. Chairman of the board of the company Gerald K Adams presided over the meeting. Managing Director Rupali Chowdhury, Directors KR Das, Masih Ul Karim, Subir Bose, Jean Claude Loutreull and Abdul Khalek were also present on the occasion.

The Chairman presented the directors' report, auditors' report and audited financial statements of the previous year before the shareholders.
