Bangladesh Finance and Investment Company Limited (BFIC) approved 10 per cent bonus share for its shareholders for the year 2008.

The approval came at the tenth annual general meeting (AGM) of the company at the Institution of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh auditorium in the city Monday, said a press release.

Chaired by BFIC Chairman Anwar Hossain, the meeting was attended, among others, by its Vice-chairman Hossain Khaled, and Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) GM Salehuddin Ahmed along with directors, deputy managing director (DMD) of the company.

A large number of shareholders took part in the meeting.

The shareholders also took part in the discussion on the financial statement and other activities of the company and passed all the agenda unanimously.
