International Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITM) is going to kick off from 6th June to 10th June 2009 in Beylikdulzu Tuyap Fair, Convention and congress centre in Istanbul, Turkey, said a press release issued by Bangladesh Textile Journal.

ITM is considered to be one of the biggest textile fairs in Europe.

ITM 2009, which is a unique and dedicated textile machinery exhibition for the region, will host to exhibit a wide range of textile machinery and new technologies. Changing balances which the whole world is experiencing; Istanbul has become a multinational meeting point for the business world and now hosts many international exhibitions.

The synergy created by TÜYAP, enjoying its 30th business year, and TEKNIK Ltd., being the project partner, is supported by Turkiye's most respected professional organization in its field "Turkey Textile Industry Employers Union" and "TEMSAD Turkish Textile Machinery and Accessories Association."

ITM 2009 is of great importance for the industry in order to observe the recent global situation as it undergoing a high economic recession. "It is predicted that the global recession which started in September 2007 will end in the first half of 2009.
