MADARIPUR, May 22 (UNB): Kanthalbari ferry ghat was inaugurated in Shibchar Upazila of the district Friday.

Shipping Minister Dr Md Afsarul Amin and Whip and Chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on Shipping Ministry Nur-e-Alam Chowdhury inaugurated the ferry ghat. The ferry ghat will reduce 6 km distance between Maowa and Kanthalbari.
