Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) opened its 35th branch at College Gate in the city Thursday.
The founder chairman of the bank Sajjatuz Jumma formally inaugurated the branch, says a press release.
As the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony, Sajjatuz Jumma said Shahjalal Islami Bank is being operated by an expert team of professionals with the international standard. He said the bank staff remains vigilant to reach the quality service of the bank to the clients.
Managing Director Mohammad Ali gave a short brief of the bank's deposit and investment schemes. He said SJIBL has become one of the best banks within a short period due to proper guidelines set by the board of directors and also because of dedication and sincerity of the bank staff.
SJIBL Chairman Akkas Uddin Mollah, Vice Chairman Syed Nurul Arefeen, directors Md Towhidur Rahman, Md Solaiman, Abdul Halim, Nazmul Islam Nuru, Sponsor Shareholder Anwer Hossain Khan, Md Hasan, MA Mannan, Md Sanaullah Shahid, former director Md Masud and DMD Mukhter Hossain were also present on the occasion.
