CHITTAGONG, May 9: Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) jointly organised a day-long workshop titled "Participation Committee" here recently.

Compliance officials of different garments industries took part in the workshop.

BGMEA Director Liakat Ali Chowdhury distributed certificates among the participants.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Chowdhury advised the participants to apply the knowledge gathered from the workshop to their respective working places.

He laid emphasis on the role played by the mid-level officials in maintaining the cordial relations among workers and owners.

Mr Chowdhury also called upon the compliance officials to apply their efficiency in developing the working atmosphere in their respective factories.

He also thanked the GTZ officials for extending cooperation in arranging such a workshop.
