Chairman of the board of directors of the Premier Bank Limited HBM Iqbal won the Best Business and Cultural Award-2008 in recognition of his contributions to the private banking and business sectors, says a press release.

Arthakantha Bangladesh Limited arranged the programme and Chairman of Arthakantha Bangladesh Ltd Ismail Hossain Siraji presided over the programme. Nobel Laureate Mohammad Yunus handed over the award to the chairman as the chief guest .

Among others, Minister for Commerce Lt Col (retd) Faruq Khan, State Minister for Home Affairs Tanjim Ahmed and high officials of the bank were also present on the occasion.
