Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK), the state-run capital planning and development authority, could not start work on the planned road between Progoti Sarani and RAJUK's Purbachal Project in last 17 years after land was acquisitioned 18 years back for the 300-feet wide road.

Sources said RAJUK authorities had handed over Purbachal plots developed in the first phase to their owners and handover of the second phase plots is under process, but seemingly they have no interest in development of the road.
