Mr Shawkat Hossain has joined the Prime Bank Limited as senior executive vice president (SEVP) and head of small and medium enterprise (SME) division.

Prior to joining the Prime Bank, he was the head of finance of Bank Al Falah Limited, says a press release.

Mr Shawkat also worked in BRAC Bank as head of SME for four years and in BRAC Afghanistan Bank as chief operations officer.

He completed his Masters in Development Management from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Philippines under the Asian Development Bank scholarship.

Mr Shawkat is a fellow of Cost and Management Accountant.
