Managing Director (MD) of Delta Life Insurance Company Limited Das Deba Prashad left Dhaka for New York to attend the 14th Global Meeting and Seventh Capital Markets Conference.

The meeting will be held on 30th anniversary of Women's World Banking (WWB) in New York between tomorrow (Monday) and May 1, '09, said a press release.

Delta Life is a network member of the WWB.

In the meeting, Mr Das will discuss about Micro Life Insurance-cum-Micro Finance programme carried out by his company and other insurers in Bangladesh and also exchange his experiences on the issue.

Leaders of 47 top-performing Microfinance institutions from 30 countries will attend the conference, the release added.
