A two-day workshop on 'Handling Procedure of Documentary Credit' for foreign exchange officers of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited was held at the AIBL Training and Research Academy in the city recently, said a press release.

AIBL Managing Director MA Samad Sheikh inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest, while Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) faculty member Atiur Rahman Mollah was present as the special guest.

Also present in the workshop were AIBL Vice-President and its Training Academy Principal Md Mahmudul Haque and faculty members Md Zahid Hasan and Abul Hossain Saju.
