LONDON, Apr 21 (AFP): European stock markets climbed Tuesday on the back of upbeat corporate and economic news, but Asia was hit by stubborn concerns about the troubled global banking sector, analysts said.
Europe won modest support after positive data from Germany, Europe's biggest economy, and dazzling corporate results from Britain's top retailer Tesco.
