Bangladesh Indenting Agents' Association (BIAA) launched a five-day training course Saturday on import and indenting procedures in the city recently, says a press release.
BIAA President Shabbir Ahmed Khan inaugurated the training course. Sr Vice-president of BIAA MS Siddiqui and Secretary and Course Coordinator ABM Ahsanullah were also present on the occasion.
Khan underscored the need for acquiring required rules of import and indenting procedures to run this business under the present competitive world.
Khan also gave a resume of the rapid change of trade pattern due to globalisation adding that one has to be equipped with update information to survive. He advised the participants to use the acquired knowledge for the promotion of their business.
Ahsanullah dwelt on the importance of training, its impact in the professional career and moderated the inaugural ceremony.
A total of 19 participants from different organisations took part in the course.
