A meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Information Wednesday finalised the report on "Right to Information Bill-2009" after a detailed discussion in the cabinet room of the Jatiya Sangsad.
Committee Chairman Obaidul Quader chaired the meeting, a Jatiya Sangsad press release said.
The committee met for the second day Wednesday and held the discussion before finalising the report.
The standing committee during its scrutiny made some amendments and additions to the clauses of the Bill with a view to maintaining transparency and accountability of the government as well as making information available to every citizen.
