The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) Limited in Bangladesh formally opened a customer service centre (CSC) in the Upashahar area of Sylhet recently, says a press release.
Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bangladesh Sanjay Prakash inaugurated the CSC through a ceremony organised on the premises of the service centre.
HSBC started its operations in Sylhet in 2006 with one branch and an ATM booth to meet the needs of the Sylhet customers. The branch currently serves over 6000 customers.
This new CSC which will remain open seven days a week with a Customer Service Officer to provide information about bank's products and services to clients from 9.0 am to 9.0 pm, except for government holidays.
The CSC also includes a 24-hour ATM machine for HSBC customers as well as for VISA and VISA PLUS card holders.
The CSC will be ready to meet the personal banking needs of the residents of Uposhahar, one of the fastest growing residential areas of Sylhet.
Head of Personal Financial Services Md Shafquat Hossain and other HSBC officials were also present on the occasion.
